Today on the show we have the head coach of Johns Hopkins Women’s Lacrosse, Janine Tucker.

Coach Tucker is a graduate of Loyola where she’s a member of the Greyhound Athletic Hall of Fame.  She started her coaching career as an assistant at Loyola for 4 seasons before jumping at the chance to be the head coach at Hopkins.  She’s now been the head coach there for 24 seasons and has since become the all-time winningest coach at Hopkins.  Her teams have had double win totals 20 of the last 24 seasons with 6 DI tournament appearances, 3 ECAC Championship Game appearances, and in 2016 she became the 9th coach in NCAA DI history to break 250 wins.

Coach Tucker and I got a chance to talk about a lot of things on today’s show like letting players play, the importance of being competitive and compassionate, being organized and much more.
