Today on the show we have the head women’s lacrosse coach at Rutgers University, Laura Brand Sias.

Coach Brand graduated from Rutgers University and is now on her 17th season as the head coach of Rutger’s Lacrosse.  Since taking over as head coach in 2003 her teams have appeared in six Big Ten Conference Championships.  Coach Brand came to Rutgers  after one season as head coach at Fairfield University where she led the stags to a 10 - 7 overall record.

Coach Brand and I got a chance to talk about a lot of things like her time as the youngest head coach in all of the NCAA, some of her trials by fire, communicating her expectations, asking more of her players, and much more.
