The GameChanger Lacrosse Podcast is about talking to people who have dedicated their life to the game of lacrosse and learning about who they are, how they got to where they are today, and what they do to improve themselves and their teams.

This weeks guest is JJ Morrissey. J.J. is from Winchester, Massachusetts. After a standout career at Governor Dummer Academy, where he excelled (and captained) three different Varsity teams, he went on to graduate from UVa in 2006. He was captain his senior year at Virginia where his team went 17 - 0 and is arguably the greatest college lacrosse team ever. JJ played in the MLL for the LA Riptide and Boston Cannons

I played with JJ 2 out of my 4 years at UVa. Even as a freshman and sophomore it was obvious that JJ was the type of player you wanted on your team. He’s one of the most underrated players I’ve ever played with.

Not only is JJ the type of player that everyone should aspire to be. He’s also an all around great person. If you listen to this interview, you’ll understand what I mean. This is a must a listen for every young person who wants to learn about hard word, dependability, and humility. It’s also a great episode for coaches who want to instill these qualities in their players. Here’s my interview with JJ Morrissey.
